Parameter for OpenSpan.Runtime.Exe
Is it possible to pass parameter for OpenSpan.Runtime.exe while loading the project. Lets say I wanted to provide an input for the automation but same time I wanted to configure it while launching, so that user interaction can be avoided.

From the command line you can specify the project to run at startup. Through the use of Project Configurations you can modify how the project runs at startup. See more information on using Project Configurations here (http://help.openspan.com/80/Project_Configuration_and_Deployment/Project_Configuration2.htm). Since you may specify on the command line which Configuration of the project to run, this would be a way to change the behavior of a project at runtime without user intervention.

Hi Jeff,
Example scenario. I have about 10 values that I can pass at the start of the automation and automation works differently for each of those values.
What I do not want to do is have 10 different configuration files (& a default configuration).
What I prefer to do is to be able to send a value at the start of the automation via Command Prompt and "Switch" accordingly within the automation itself eliminating the need to specify different configurations at the command prompt. Is there a way to accomplish this?
Example - C:\Openspan.runtime.exe "Project.Openspan" "Value1"

I have tried to resolve your problem like below. Please let me know if that helped.
1. Command line arguments can be obtained from Environment class. To do this
i) Right click in toolbox and click "Choose Items"
ii) Select "Pega Robotics Static Members" tab
iii) In the radio buttons choose "From Global Assembly Cache"
iv) In the drop down list choose "mscorlib, Version= Proprietary information hidden"
v) In the tree, expand the "Environment" item and then check "GetCommandLineArgs"

vi) Click OK and a component will be added in your toolbox.
vii) Drag and drop the component to automation and use it like below.
From your example,
Argument - 0 : C:\Openspan.runtime.exe
Argument - 1: "Project.Openspan"
Argument - 2: "Value1"
So, we use stringArrayProxy1->Get(2) in this automation, if you want to pass more you can pass and you can get it. Let me know if you still got any queries.
