Oracle based application developed by JAVA. Error occurs and crashing java.EXE when i try to focus on a textbox (OpenSpan 7.1.81)
This is Windowbased application but opened via web application. Hence my controls are created under Web Adapter.
Requirement:
When we click "OPEN" button a new child window will open. In the child window if we focus/Activate/{TAB} on a textbox another window will open.
When trying to focus or Activate attached exception occurs.
I tried many other ways like sending keys TAB on the window control and created clones of textbox (focus on correct textbox).
Wrote script to focus programmatically.
Nothing worked out.
Java Invoke Timeout given as 0 also didnt work.
INTERESTINGLY When i put breakpoint in before focus it worked as expected. GAVE PAUSE ALSO FOR 10 Seconds without break point didnt work crashed the application.
Java version JRE1.7.80
EXE NAME: jp2launcher.exe
Please help me out in this.

Sivara,
What version of Java and Oracle is the application running under? There are limitations of support for various versions of Java and Oracle depending on the version of OpenSpan you are using.
Please have a look at our applicaiton support matrix below to confirm that you are using a supported version of Java/Oracle with OpenSpan.

It sounds like a timing issue may be at play here. I would like for you to enable runtime logs at verbose and provide them to me. You can do so by editing the runtimeconfig.xml located within the %appdata%/openspan directory.
Attached are instructions on how to edit the runtimeconfig.xml to enable logging. After doing so, please create the crash without the use of the breakpoint and provide the runtimelog.txt file that is found in the same directory, %appdata%/openspan
