Openspan keeps crashing

Hi ,

My openspan application crashes/hangs and then I have to restart my system. There is no specific pattern for this.

I have checked if there is any process set to NOT RUN but everything looks correct . Only openspan is running on my system and no other application. I'm using studio Proprietary information hidden 32 bit with IE 11.

Could you please assist here ?

Hi Amruta,

The best way to troubleshoot is to start with event viewer application logs in windows.
It should give some helpful logs.

In addition to what Ujjwal has suggested, do check StudioLog and RuntimeLog first to try and see if you can find something there.

Sure will check. According to investigation , it looks like memory issue.But only openspan application is running on user's machine.My application is built in 32 bit studio .

Is it possible to convert the application to 64 bit  with same 32 bit studio version? If yes , then how ?

Also ,Is there any way to resolve this memory issue or to increase memory ?

Hi Team,

I am facing the same issue. Probably this is happening with the newest version, the previous version was working fine. When I am trying to interrogate something, it's throwing a message that "it's getting restarted".
