Obtain transport object = Failed
I'm on implementation of Pega Marketing following the instructions in the "Pega Marketing Implementation Guide 8.2".
As I proceed the step of " Creating a prospect class section" ,We are getting Test connectivity fail status at "Obtain transport object" step.
1)What does Obtain transorport object mean??
2)At password field and userID of Sender section,what value I should enter??
It's password of email account??

At password field and userID of Sender section, You have to provide the password of the email id.
Then do test connectivity

I face the same problem.
Do I need to grant any special access role to the operator who creates the mail account?
I am now changing the ruleset from the department layer to the organization layer and creating an email account using an operator with the access group set as the administrator for that application.

If you are using gmail, You need to turn on 'Allow Less Secure Apps Access Google Account ' option. https://www.dev2qa.com/how-do-i-enable-less-secure-apps-on-gmail/
There might be similar kind of option for other mails also.
