Not able to run PLA
I downloaded Pega Log analyzer from PDN and unzipped using Winzip, Ran Startup.bat,and tried to click on PLA link. i am constantly receiving below error on screen. Can any one suggest if I am missing any steps?
- Make sure the web address http://localhost:18080 is correct.
- Look for the page with your search engine.
- Refresh the page in a few minutes.

When you ran startup.bat, did a popup window open with the Tomcat startup details? It should includes messages about deploying the web application, connecting to the database, and the startup time.

Thank you for the response Carissa. I tried to run Startup.bat but it says that is blocked for my group policy. I am on OS Windows 10. Our technical support team indicated that this may be an OS support issue. Is PLA packages supported for Windows 10?

Today i downloaded the PegaLogAnalyzer from this location and i am able to start it successfully in my Windows 10 machine. As per your screen shot it points to PLA_With_Jre_1.0.23 folder but my download media has below folder structure,
C:\Users\XXX\Downloads\PegaLogAnalyzer\PLA_With_Jre>startup.bat
Use Packaged Java
Using CATALINA_BASE: "C:\Users\XXX\Downloads\PegaLogAnalyzer\PLA_With_Jre\Software\tomcat"
Using CATALINA_HOME: "C:\Users\XXX\Downloads\PegaLogAnalyzer\PLA_With_Jre\Software\tomcat"
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: "C:\Users\XXX\Downloads\PegaLogAnalyzer\PLA_With_Jre\Software\tomcat\temp"
Using JRE_HOME: "C:\Users\midtu\Downloads\PegaLogAnalyzer\PLA_With_Jre\Software\jre"
Using CLASSPATH: "C:\Users\XXX\Downloads\PegaLogAnalyzer\PLA_With_Jre\Software\tomcat\bin\bootstrap.jar;C:\Users\XXX\Downloads\PegaLogAnalyzer\PLA_With_Jre\Software\tomcat\bin\tomcat-juli.jar"
So you can download it from the above shared location and have a try.
