PLA vs. PAL

Hi:

   Regarding this question:

Your application just went into production and the users are complaining that response times are terrible. Your best initial action should be:

1. Use the PLA-PegaRules Log Analyzer to analyze the Alerts, System logs, and GC.

2. Run PAL on every screen in the application.

Which one is correct answer?

To me seems like they both OK.

Hello,

It depends. If your are only concerned about the response time on a couple of screens, then PAL is your way.

If the reponse time is poor through out the application, then it is better to go for PLA. Mostly, PLA flags critical issues that leads to processing failure. 

So i hope in your scenario, PAL is the quick way. But mostly, after immediate production deployment, PLA should be used.
