Multi-wave campaign support in Pega Marketing
In our project, we need to run a campaign in 4 waves.The details are following
- Each Wave needs to run on weekly basis
- First wave needs to cover 10% of Customers
- Second wave needs to cover 20% of Customers
- 3rd wave needs to cover 30% of Customers
- 4th wave to cover 40% of Customers
The question here is ,
Can I achieve this in one campaign with one segment? or Do I need to create 4 different campaigns and 4 different Segments?

Hi,
If your wave% is static like 25% in all the runs, you will have options to define it in a single segment/single campaign. i.e by having a segment that queries IH to exclude previously contacted customers in the campaign and using the static sampling % features.
Dynamic incremental wave's are currently not possible in a single segment / campaign config, unless you change the segment manually after each run.
There is also a backlog item under the self-optimizing campaigns to bring something like an incremental defined wave in future releases.
