Pega Marketing 7.3.1 Campaign fails but less to see in the logs
Hi All,
When a campaign fails most of the times this cannot be seen in the pegarules.log but only in the Marketing portal itself.
By example, when a larger amount is characters is set into a database fiels the campaign failes with an SQL error, but this is not visible in the pegarules.log.
How to set the config the way it does write those records to the pegarules.log

Hi Arjan,
Did you try looking at the the data flow landing page or instances of Pega-DM-DDF-Work ? Every failed campaign will leave these instances for further troubleshooting. For example P-20 which creates a PR-56 would have left a instance named PR-56 in the system. That instance of Pega-DM-DDF-Work could be opened and there are various data flow component level failures capture to see more details. In your case the output component that uses the data-set to write to the batch table would have failed with a SQL exception.

Hi, I did, but still not all log i can find overthere is visible within the PEGA Rules log.
The stacktrace that is to be seen within, by example, the failed record, is not seen in the log file.

Hi Arjan,
Are you using a Multi-node environment or a single node? If it is a multi-node environment, you will need to check the logs where the PegaMKT-Engine agents are running and also in the Data Flow nodes.
But to make it easier please follow the steps that Sriram has mentioned where you can open the failed Dataflow work item and inspect it to see the failure details.
