KAFKA Integration - AVRO support

Current version - 7.3.1
In my current organisation, a mulit-national financial institution, Recently all the KAFKA topic's have been mandated to be AVRO compliant and when we try to integrate PEGA with AVRO complaint topic's, the JSON Parser fails with error, quite identical to the following post.
Do you have vision to extend the Kafka Integration to be AVRO compliant ? If yes, What is the timeline ?
