Kafka Avro messaging

Hi Team,

We are doing a POC on sending messages to Kafka using Avro message format. we are able to send message successfully. but the message is in readable format in Kafka topic(before deserialize). but our expectation is binary format.what could be the reason ?

Hi Kevin,

 

Thanks for your response, I followed the same approach,  Kafka Team confirmed it as Avro message later. I have one more question related to this. how do we set below additional producer properties if required.

ACKS_CONFIG,RETRIES_CONFIG, BATCH_SIZE_CONFIG etc
