Issue with attachments from cases in IE11

Hi all,

After IE upgrade from IE8.0 to IE11.0 , user is facing issue while opening attachments. While saving attachments , system does not recognize attachment type. It was working fine in IE8.0.

Does anyone has faced issue while opening the attachments of cases from IE11 in PRPC 6.2 SP1?

The attachments were opening currently in IE8 , the issue originated after the IE upgrade from IE8.0 to IE 11.0.

Hi Somitra,

I would suggest you to check in the Browser >Developer tools > Console to see if anything is blocking the file open with the latest IE version or any errors related to the file open. Hope this might help you to find the root cause.

When I use IE11 on PRPC 6 systems, I typically need to enable compatibility mode. Are you using compatibility mode in IE?
