Unable to open pdf attached to a case while opening from a different case
Hi All,
We have a requirement to open a pdf on click of a button, i am able to download the pdf on click of a button but i am not able to open that pdf on click.
Ex: I have created a case A-1 and attached a PDF to this case
Later i have created a different case B-1 in this case journey in one of the sections i have a button ,on click of that button we have a requirement to open the PDF which is attached to A-1 case
any idea how to achieve this?

Hi Kishore,
The default behavior is whenever you click on any attachment in the work object, it will download the attachment and not view the attachment.
To address your requirement you can configure a custom pdf viewer, which will display the pdf attached in a modal dialog. The steps to configure this has been explained by John and Rett in the below link:

Hi All,
Now i am able to display the pdf on screen but ,the pdf name is getting displayed wrong and i am getting two vertical scrollbars on modal dialog.

I am using the below html code in the section

But after the pdf displayed i checked the elements by pressing F12 key

As shown above we are getting "!@ec1c09d2a6ae53681ef2aa6b396d8d35!PS1__TABTHREAD3" in place of pdf name so the same is getting displayed on screen
How to customize this to display the correct pdf name?
