Invoking Pega Robotics from Pega application

Hi.. I have a question on how can we invoke the Robotics scripts writtien in Pega Robotics studio can be invoked from Pega applications. To do this do we need any Pega plugins in Pega 6 or 7 applications to call the Robotic package scripts?. Please guide me. Thanks.
