Error launching windows application from Pega Robotics
In QA testing of a RDA process that launches a windows application we are encountering an error indicating" Error opening process 9480: 0x5" Where can I find information on the error, a cause and most needed a FIX? The RDA is launch as a user logs in via the registry startup script, and then it is supposed to start the ALP application.. This fails (log4net is below) and the user is left hanging as to whether the RDA or alp application have started or are stable..

Rob,
I would recommend that you open a SR so that your issue can be addressed. Without quite a bit more information it would be hard to determine the issue here.

There is now a sr open: SR-B41162
A work around that seems to work is running openspan.runtime in administrator mode seems to fix the problem. Why we're not sure and still awaiting clarification..

Seeing this comment I suspect you have a security issue where OpenSpan is not allowed to inject into the application. This is typically caused by either a security tool/Antivirus or by Integrity levels of the applications. You can use a tool like ProcessExplorer to identify the Integrity levels an executable is running under.
