Interrogating windows application login form

Hi,

I am trying to interrogate one windows application, which is asking username and password in a separate window. I am able to interrogate entire window but not the username and password controls. please help me...

Hi

You might want to consider using the onscreen OCR capabilities that are available in the latest release for robotics. (Not sure what version you are using). This will allow you to call methods such as ClickByOCR etc.

There is a document on the community called "CREATING AUTOMATIONS USING THE SCREEN OCR FEATURE" see if you can locate it, will will offer more details.
