intent task and flow action
Hi
In intent task rule we have starting activity, in action tab of flow action we have pre processing activity.
can someone please tell what is the actual purpose of using starting activity in intent task and pre processing activity in flow action? when to use those? and their differences?

Hi,
I am not aware of the intent task rule, but the Pre-Processing section in the FlowActions tab, is used to perform operations , before a flow action renders from an assignment. It can be achieved via a datatransform or an activity.
For eg, you have a section, where you are displaying a sum of two numbers, collected in the earlier screen, you can calculate the sum , via a datatransform/activity mentioning it in the preprocessing section of a flow action , and show it on the screen .
