Pega Marketing / CDH gives you powerful abilities to consume the responses like clicked and open/impression and use it in your adaptive decisioning and history tracking capabilities to do follow-up communications to customers in a very powerful fashion. If NBA strategies or multi-channel outbound is used, it has levers for contact policies (how often you want to communicate) and apply ethical bias thresholds.

If these responses are captured in Pega Marketing/Customer Decision Hub then those data are available immediately for decisioning. If only done in Mailjet you will have to have custom integrations to feed in that customer response back in batches for the adaptive and other decisioning models to learn.

Some customers use Mailjet and Pega Marketing integration as they augment one other by feeding in additional data. For example : bounces and spams of Mailject could be used for cleaning up customer data which could make the future decisions in Pega Marketing/CDH going to the right email id's. Customer's also route Pega Marketing emails through mailject to have a templated email "header" going out that gives you a trusted source for various email clients while doing email based communications.

So in summary, customers use Mailject, Mailgun or Sendgrid as delivery routine mechansim for email's that are fully generated and personalized in Pega Marketing / CDH to do the following:

1. Bounces and spam's are not directly tracked in Pega Marketing / CDH as that needs inbound SMTP listeners. 2. Email header template that gives trusted source behavior in various different email clients like Outlook, Google, Yahoo etc
