Integration between Genesys and PEGA Chat

Hello,

I read the article about Genesys integration " Configuring a Genesys CTI Server link - https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/configuring-genesys-cti-server-link ". By doing this, will I be integrating Genesys to be able to have chat service? I don't want to use PEGA Chat if not necessary because we already have Genesys that we use in other projects. Is there anything else I need to do to have that capability?

The Genesys integration is for CTI only. Pega Customer Service Chat doesn't support integration with other Chat services.
