Insufficient privileges to author custom HTML. Please use Auto-Generated HTML
I am using the cloud instance from Pega SAE 7.2 course. As operator ADMIN@TGB, I want to Create an Custom HTML control to display SSN as (xxx-xx-1234). So i am unable to Save to the control rule due to (Insufficient privileges to author custom HTML. Please use Auto-Generated HTML). Could you please help what is the Privilege needs to be added to the application, so that i can save the Custom HTML rule.

Also, you will not be able to save or checkin(override) the final rules.
Kindly notify, if it helps you for the benefit of larger audience. Also, share the configuration if you are able to tweak it somehow. At community, it's always learning.

Hello Sandeep,
In the multi tenant environment creation/save of rule types which contain custom java are disabled for tenant users.
These are the rule types which will be affected
- Rule-Edit-Input
- Rule-Edit-Validate
- Rule-Connect-SQL
- Rule-Obj-Activity
- Rule-Utility-Function
- Rule-File-Text
- Rule-HTML-Fragment
- Rule-HTML-Property
- Rule-Obj-HTML (and Sections, Flow Actions, etc.)

Adding to this as you have created a custom HTML i.,e control which is of type Rule-HTML-Property ,so that's the reason your getting the error.
