Installing Pega on a server
Hello everyone,
I would like to install Pega on a server for learning purposes, so I have the following question:
Which version of Pega should I try to install?
At this point I'm working with Pega Personal Edition but I'm not sure how limited I am so I can practice most of the functionality and implementations in a real project (version control, correspondence, acces to the database, consuming services, etc)
I found information in this post: https://collaborate.pega.com/question/installing-pega-server, and there it is suggested to get technical information regarding installation in this site: https://community1.pega.com/support-resources/deployment-upgrades/deployment-guides?field_product_version_tid=25711, but I tried to download the manuals for most versions and it seems the site is broken because I get no files when clicking on button to download manuals.

You should try the latest version: https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/products/platform/deploy, assuming you are licensed to download the distribution image.

Hi Omar,
It's always better to learn new and latest features.Pega infinity contains new features & introduced new concepts like admin studio, job scheduler,Queue processor ,Kafka etc.So I would suggest you to go with any pega 8.x version.
