IMAP/POP3 Support Withdrawn for Microsoft Cloud Exchange Server Accounts
Hi Team,
we received an email saying that microsoft will no longer support for IMAP/POP3 Protocols from October 13th 2020, onwards.
I have gone through the corresponding Microsoft article and it mentioned that this only apllicable for only Microsoft exchange cloud Accounts and On-Premise microsoft exchange server accounts will work fine with IMAP/POP3 protocols.
Please confirm if thats the case.
If not then please what options does pega provide to clients to solve this issue.
Note: we are on Pega 8.3
Hi: What looses the support is the Basic Authentication. The protocols will remain. You will have to upgrade to 8.4 as the configuration options for Oauth2.0 were added for that release. Regards,
