Connecting with IVANS Exchange
Hello,
Has anyone successfully able to connect Pega with EVANS Exchange?
IVANS is used for Data exchange( Agent download) and is owned by Applied System.
It will be used as a data transfer intermediary between client and Agent system to download the policy information
How does IVANS work?
- Agents establish a mailbox account with IVANS.
- Insurance carriers download policy information into this account.
- The agent’s AMS connects to extract the policy information.

Thank for the question.
Could you please elaborate more on what kind of protocols EVANS exchange support for connecting to their mailbox? Pega email listeners can be configured to connect and read messages from mailboxes using IMAP/POP3 protocols. Are EVANS mailboxes work with IMAP/POP3 standards or do they use any other protocols such as REST, SOAP etc. ?
