How to turn ON/OFF Pega agents using a Java API
Hi, I am looking for a solution where I can automate switching Pega agents On/Off. Does pega expose any such API which I can use and write a java code to automate checking the agent's status and acting on it ??

To start an agent:
boolean result = tools.getAgentUtils().startQueue(RulesetName, QueueName);
To stop an agent:
boolean result = tools.getAgentUtils().terminateQueue(RulesetName, QueueName);
RulesetName is the name of the agent (key to the Rule-Agent-Queue record) to modify.
QueueName is the queue name.

I have a few more questions, pardon me if you find it silly :)
So these getAgentUtils.startQueue and getAgentUtils.terminateQueue are inbuilt functions which pega offers to start/stop agents ??
Also how do i connect to a the SMA portal where these agents are listed. Help me just the approach pls I will write the code for it.

Also, when you say Operation.equals("stop") - are we taking stop/start as the user input ?
