How to track agent status in 6.1
We need to track agent running status and if any of the running agent stops,an email should receive as an alert.We are not using AES.
Need some approach. We were trying to follow track security changes with declare trigger,but it seems to be not possible.

We are already following the java api method in the article to fetch agent status on daily basis. but I am looking for something to track agent status on 24*7 basis.Few of our agents stop regularly,so we need to get mail notification as soon as they stop.
Is there any way to track the agent status? I remebered we tracked any property changes with pyTrackSecurityChange.Whenever the property is saved(Declare trigger),we use to call customized track security change.
Let me know your thoughts.

If you looking for a monitoring solution outside of Pega, Splunk is one of the tool for you. It has the capability to read log events and send emails. Pega generates "PEGA0010" alert when ever agent is broken, you can use this as serach string for your Splunk alert.
