Agent status on multinode system

I have an Agent which is running on multiple nodes. How do I fetch the status (Running or Stopped) of the agent on a particular node.

I have used the JAVA API method getAgentStatus(), but it is returing the status of the Agent on the node in which I am currently logged in executing this method. Appreciate your help on this.

Did you check the SMA for agent on current node at the time you tested the Java api? was the status same or different?

What's the overall usecase here? I believe you want to send some notification when agent gets disabled?
