Agent Runtime Status
Hi ,
We are supporting multiple applications and where in the process of monitoring the agents, we want to publish a report with agents status(Enable/Disabled/Hung State) and time stamps.
can you please letus kniw , is there any way we can build such report with PEGA 7.1.8 capabilities.
like any Pega/Java api, we can design such reports.

Hi Rama,
Bydefault PRPC provides SMA in which you can find out status of all agents.you can navigate to
Designer studio--->System-->Operation-->System Management Application--->Agents Management.
You can get agent status using AES tool as well.It can be configured to send reports in mail(as per requirement).
Still If you want to develop a custom tool then you can try using JMX as the above tools uses JMX at background.Please let me know If you need more details about that.

i am looking to write an automated utility/report to mail me with all the agent status information,because we have hundreds of agents need to verify.
1. SMA will not work for our requirement.
2. Reg. AES tool, if it is free, can you provide me any documentation how to code and implement to get the agent status information.
3.Reg- JMX, please provide any document hoe to code and implement this method.

Hi,
There is a seperate tab for agent management in AES.You can use that to get the status.For sending mails you can use scorecard which is present in AES.

Declare AgentStatus as local and pass AgentRuleset,AgentName value to below API, it will give the status.
AgentStatus= tools.getAgentUtils().getAgentStatus(AgentRuleset,AgentName);
