How to automate the monitoring of pega agents running status?
Hi,
As part of monitoring the Pega agents in one of the applications in production, we are daily monitoring the required agents(also includes Pega marketing agents) manually by logging into SMA.
This is taking both time and efforts.
Can someone please help me in automating this process? there should be a report generated with the current status(running or stopped) of all the mentioned agents. also, it should send an alert email if any of the mentioned agents is stopped/not-running. Can we achieve this by any means, like with an activity or so? Inputs are greatly appreciated

Weekly Scoreboard reports
Pega Autonomic Event Services provides two scoreboards to help quickly identify the top performance issues, as well as summarizing weekly performance statistics and comparing them to the previous week.

Hi Asif,
Thank you. It is helping somewhat. But my requirement is to capture all the statistics about agents, active thread count, memory available etc. Need to prepare a report and share with other members. So, if there can a customized utility that fetch all this data with a single click it will save a lot of time. There are 16 nodes in our environment - need to check on all the nodes and identify.
Kindly suggest.

On a related note, we are releasing a hotfix to add new features to the 'PegaAESRemote' agents that run in monitored system. One of these features will be to send PDC agent status for the cluster - which agents are running on each node. This information is available in PDC in Enterprise / <system> / Agents. We are thinking best way for PDC to use this information to assess whether agents that should be running on a given node (using node type) are running, and trigger notification when something is missing or unexpected.
