How to monitor the agents running on all the nodes connected to single environment

Hi All-

We are using the Pega 6.2 SP1 and we have 15 different projects using 15 nodes of the environment, we would like isolate the agents of the application to run on their specific nodes and proactively monitor the agents running on those nodes.

Is there a way we can do by executing some query against Database and if possible what is the table I should run the query against?

Is there a better way to do this as I want to generate a report which list the status of agents, node name and agent name.

Have you checked whether you can modify the existing reports like AgentListForPortal or SystemNodeDetails etc ?

Hi Santanu-

These reports gives us the agents that run on the same server where you are running the report but I am looking to generate the report that generates a report for all the nodes in the environment.

 

Please can you help and be elaborative with the steps to do this ?

 HI Chaitanya, there is no filtering based on node for these two reports, so you may run them from any node to get results for all of them.

Hi,

You could use PDC (PEGA Predictive Diagnostic Cloud) to monitor your nodes. Yet it has limited capability regarding agents - will show only number of running agents per node.

Is this a tool that you are talking about ? I am using Pega 6.2 SP1 and not sure if we can use it.

Hi Chaitanya,

There are two tools/applications: AES and PDC.
In general both do the same and have similar capabilities.
AES can be used for customers running Pega applications on premises (own servers) while PDC is intended for customers running Pega applications in Pega cloud.
