How to trace and retrive specific data from BLOB field from Pega DB2 tables.
Hi All,
We have a requirement to get caller data (Caller name, Phone number) from Pega Application (PRPC v6.3 build on CSFW-02.60) stored in DB2 tables.
I tried running tracer to back track the table using "Declare DecisionTable" and "DB Query" Event Types but
I dont see exactly the log with mapping for the fields from specific table.
Not sure if these columns are not exposed or going into BLOB field.
I need to extract these fields from DB2 tables and load into Teradata.
Can someone please help me tracing the fields and is there a way we can read this data from DB2 BLOB .

Hello,
I'm not aware of a tool that will let you get into the blob values directly, though maybe you could do something with UDFs? It should be fairly straightforward to write an activity that does an Obj-Open on the object, puts the data on the clipboard, and then maps it to where ever you want to map it, so I'd probably look into that. If you drive the activity from a listener, you could even trigger it from outside of your Pega application.
