In run time how to change schema reference for tables.

I have identical table in schema A and Schema B.

When user select checkbox - it should refer schema A to get table data else it should fetch the vlaues from schema B

Kindly elaborate the use case for doing this. Also, does this reference have to change for all rule executions when instances of this class are created, updated, deleted or retrieved?
