how to retrive data from datapage dynamically?
My landing screen looks like this:
Description:
When i enter from and to dates the below table should generate accordingly (when i click on generate button) how should i do this?
and after generating when i click on check box click on publish then the particular details should be passed to the next stage?
Any idea of the workflow is much appreciate!

Hi Tejaswini,
I think there's a better way to achieve this than my previous approach.
- Change your source page list 'Data Access' to 'Refer to a Data Page'.
- When you select your data page, as it has 'From' and 'To' parameters, they'll be displayed.
- For the From parameter, select the clipboard property which you are using to store the From date value selected in the section.
- Apply this to the To parameter as well.
- Add an on change action to both From and To date pickers in the section and select 'Post Value' as the action.
- Add a click action to the 'Generate' button and select 'Refresh this section'.
Try this approach and let me know.

Hi,
- Add a 'refresh this section' action into the 'Generate' button and refresh the grid.
- Add an on change action with post value to both From and To fields.
- In the action you can call an activity to get the From and To date values and refresh the page list source by passing them.
- As I remember there's a pega property you can use(pySelected) in the checkbox.
- If your grid is sourced using a non-editable data page, this will throw a run time error.
- In that case you need to create a separate page list and define copy from a data page and use it as the source of your page list.
- On click of Publish button, call another activity to loop & check for (pySelected) value in the page list and apply your logic.
