How to route a user directly to a specific work object instead on default screen - we are using SAML
Was there any progress made on this issue, currently we are running into same situation using SAML.
The situation referred here is the one discussed here: How can we route a user directly to a specific work object?
Our requirement is based on a specific attribute in the assertion token, we need to redirect to open a work object directly instead of default screen.
Tried,
param.pyChallenge @java("PRAuthentication.DEFAULT_REDIRECT_URL")
Show-HTML (RedirectURL , pySSORedirectRequest)
Any thoughts ??

Hello All,
One of the option is to update the "Starting activity to execute" for the Operator.
1) Set the CaseID from assertion token to OperatorID page temporarily
2) update the "Starting activity to execute" from "Data-Portal.ShowDesktop" to another where you can check if the Case ID exists in then open the assignment otherwise show Desktop.

I don't know the answer here : but I have suggestion / question.
Are you able to (temporarily - for the purposes of diagnostics) avoid the use of SAML in your test ?
If you switch back to using PRPC OOTB Authentication mechanism - does your 'Snap Start' mechanism work or not ?
(I think you are using a http:// link to redirect a user to a specific Work Item here - perhaps in an email etc - right ?)

Also - Naveen you posted what you tried here with regard to displaying the 'Challenge Screen' ( which is the answer given on the PDN post you linked) - but you didn't say why this didn't work - what happens when you try this ? Does the Challenge Screen not appear ? or does it error - or does it not redirect at the end ?
