Taking user directly to a specific tab in a Tab group

We have a section having Tab Group. Tab Group has about 5 tabs. When the screen is launched, system has to check a clipboard property and take the user directly to a specific tab within the Tab Group.  How to take user directly to a specific tab?  

(Earlier in v5.3 we used to set a param value..I think it was pyTabExpanded. If it was set to say 2, then the system opens the tab group with 2nd tab open).

There is 'Active when' capability on each tab of the tab group. So you can set the condition on the tab you wan to be active when the page comes up.
