How to Prepend an Icon or Image to Text Input Control

Can anyone suggest on how to prepend / add an icon to text input control in section?

STEP1: In section add one inline grid double layout inside the layout add two column layout (two-Column-Sidebar - Main) 

STEP2: Inside (two-Column-Sidebar - Main) layout add icon in the sidebar and add property in main column layout.
