Placeholder test on the Text Input control not working

Hi ,

We have a requirement to show some test as an assistance to the user to let them know what to enter. For this we are using the the normal text input control. But when i am using the placeholder option from OOTB, the end user is unable to enter anything in the text box. This issue is seen only in IE11 and not in previous IE versions. Is there anything that needs to be done specially for IE 11?

Please advise.

PRPC 7.1.7 and CPM 7.1.3

Joydeep,

Could you provide some screenshots showing how the text input is configured? (it's property panel)

Also, are you using IE11 in Edge / native mode?  Or is IE11 emulating some other mode?

I cannot take the screenshot of my page. I am running this on the IE11 Edge mode.

The parameter in the property pannel, PlaceHolderText is being used. Where i am referring a Field value
