How to perform "CreateWork" action from an Activity?
I need to create a new case and open it in a new tab beside the existing case.
Currently, we are achieving this functionality using the "Create Work" action on the button click.
Our new requirement is to achieve the same functionality on a selection of the dropdown option "Create Follow-up Appointment".
I have tried calling the activity doUIAction, ApplicationSetup that Pega is using for the "Create Work" action. The issue is New Case is getting created but, a new thread is not getting created. It is creating a new case in the existing case tab so that the current case is getting replaced by a newly created case. Please suggest an approach to fulfill this requirement.

check the OOTB implementation on PEGA Dev studio Home Screen , when you are in home screen if you click on any thing it will be opened as a new tab, check that implementation
