How does high availability on multi node work
Hi
Scenario:
I have a multi node instance setup with nodes (NodeA, NodeB). Lets say i'm working on NodeA since long time and suddenly it crashes. I'm switched to NodeB and from the HA docs i read it said my session would seamlessly moved to NodeB.
When the NodeA goes down.. My session information gets erased. How is my session resumed in NodeB.
I'm really confused.. Can anyone shed some light on the node switching and passivation as well.

However, my question still unanswered remains.
When i'm working on a NodeA and it suddently crashes.. How is my session restored on NodeB.
The session is usually persisted on timeout. isnt it?

You should be able to have a multi-tenant system with more than one node. Multi-tenant and multi-node (with High Availability) are two different and independent things.
Multi-tenant means having more than one distinct set of rules and data (one for each tenant) with shared resources. One tenant cannot access any of the rules or data from another tenant, and even has a distinct URL. Each tenant has a Tenant Administrator, but that Tenant Administrator has no access to anything belonging to another tenant. Tenant Admins are also unable to access High Availability functionality.
Multi-node is simply having more than one node. A multi-node system can be configured to have High Availability, regardless of whether or not it's Multi-tenant. It is the System Administrator that handles the responsibility of maintaining the High Availability functionality.
