NODE SHORT DESCRIPTION @ Data-Admin-Nodes records not matching up with the values under Node @High Availability Cluster Management.

I am not aware of any way to configure the HA screen in 7.3.1 to use short description. The later Pega vesion has replaced the field as "host name", which is a short description, see the example from Pega 8.1.x

Your issue is cosmetics by nature, in my opinion.
