How to display "Remaining Characters" in Text Box control.
Hi,
We have a requirement to display Remaining characters counter in text box control. This counter comes OOTB in Text Area control. Is there a way to have it in text box also?

It works but there is one limitation. If I change the UI control to Text Area - User can press enter and add text in multiple lines. Secondly due to multiple lines a scroll bar also visible.

Hi,
Counting characters is not available OOTB in text input. You can customize it using custom scripts. This however brings the challenge of having another DOM element on the UI that can be tough to maintain.
Alternatively, you can rather block the default behavior of the unwanted keys functionality while the text area is focused. Please write a custom script "onFocus" of that textarea.
