How to use Generated unique id in custom control.

Hi Guys,

I have a requirement that I have to create unique id for custom control and i have to use created unique id while executing that control.

Generate Unique ID Check box

How can I access created unique id.

Got it Dhinesh. You can use the below code in your custom control to access Pega generated unique number.

JSP :

<p:r n="$save(sectionUniqueID)" />

Java :

tools.getSaveValue("sectionUniqueID")

Hi DhineshK, 

Is your requirement is to create a unique number from a custom control? Can I know the reason why you want to access the Pega generated Unique ID?

Hi Durai Sankar,

I have a custom control. while configuring more than one custom control in the same section, both are doing conflicts. So I am trying to differentiate with unique number.
