How to call validation without flow action?
Hi Team,
I have a requirement where I have to do field validations at the very first screen.But there will be No flow action for that screen, as when the consumer open the application , click on Home button that section will appear.
Data like account number,surname, postcode will be filled and I have configured "Use Validate " at each property.
Issue is how to call the validations without Flow action?

So what is it then just a SECTION in an HARNESS? I guess if the validation is running on client that should still be working? Is it a server side validation maybe?

Yes it is just a section in the harness.its client side validation and we dont have specifically configured any validation at client side.It is the field level properties which we are checking.

Hi,
You can call validate rule from an Activity. You can have the Obj-Validate step and call the respective Validate Rule. You may call this activity based on event or section Refresh.
You can also have Page-Set-Messages step to set custom messages in the Primary Page based on When condition.

What we got to know that Pega SMEs, says not to use activity .But yes, as we were not getting the solution.We have used activity now.But again ,at run time , we are getting different issue.Started new thread now.
