How to add a timer on top of work object
I have a requirement that when i open any work object then automatically timer should get started and when i close or submit the work object the timer should automatically get stopped and the difference should be calculated and stored. please can any one help me on this.

I don't think we have such time on the product by default. What version of Pega are you running? Do you have any strategic application installed.
I guess you work with creation and resolution date to calculate it maybe.

Hi Manisha,
If you were using Customer Service framework then we have a OOTB timer functionality which can be reused, but you are not using it. So you might need to write the timer logic in javascript and use it in your section, you can also try to search for the existing code for the open source timer business logic online and reuse it.
