Add incremental timer in a Case and save value
Hi!,
I need to implement an incremental timer on my Case. I have a js control with code to implement the timer, but I need to save that value in a property on pega when de user close the Case. Maybe in future user needs some buttons to pause, resume and stop the timer. I think I can do it in my js, but I don't know how to manage my timer with a property in pega.

I strongly encourage the use of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure that users complete their tasks on time. Keep in mind that using a JavaScript timer can impact maintenance and troubleshooting if the timers do not function as expected. Additionally, it may not always be accurate in the following scenarios:
1. The user clicks on "Log Off," even though the case is still displayed in the Perform harness.
2. The user accidentally closes the tab or window.
3. The user has chosen to "Close All Cases."

Hi, I can't use SLAs for this, because I need to check how much real time the user is working on the task, so they need a timer to calculate the time, I have my timer in a js but I need to save the value in a Pega property.

@uNlove Thanks for your response. I understand, but this might yield inconsistent results in the scenarios below, and it's NOT a full-proof solution.

In those scenarious timer stops, and only starts when the user open the section where is the control with the timer exists. So when user move back or next I want to save the value of the timer in a pega property. I know is not the best practice but is that client needs
