Enable Client Side Validation only in Flow Action does not work

I have a harness where the client side validation is not enabled. I have made some fields required in a section and enabled client side validation only in the flow action. the validation does not fire.

1.Is it mandatory to enable both client side validation in harness and flow action?

2.Why enabling client side validation only in flow action does not fire the validation?

3.Is there any other way to validate the fields without a validate rule in flow action or enabling client side validation in the harness?

Hi,

You should be enabling "client side validation" for harness so that the harness is refreshed to display the sections. It is mandatory to have this setting enabled in Harness and flow action.
You can also enable the client side validation for the control.
