Validation In Flow Action not working
i want to get a message "Field Empty" when the Reason in the below attached screenshot is empty.This should happen post clicking of submit button. The property is in a page and i am using it as PageName.PropertyName in the validate rule attached. Still doesnt work. Please help.

If the property has not been initialized on the clipboard to at least an empty value so that is shows up...the evaluation of (property = "") could potentially fail. Try setting the initial value of the property to "".

Hi Anuj,
Can you try IF TempPage.Reason has a value AND Validation of .Reason fails THEN disaply message: "Please enter the reason for escalation"

Hi,
You said that you want the validation to work on click of submit and you specified validation rule on the flow action. Ideally it should work. If it's not working, then I would suggest you to go for an post processing activity and fire the validation from the activity which can do in 2 ways:
1. Call the validation rule from activity
2. Use a pre-condition check of the reason value and According to that set an error message on the work page using Page-Set-Message method.
