Directly update outlook calendar from pega application without sending a meeting request
Hi,
i have a Requirement to update user's outlook calendar based on Pega application's trigger without sending a meeting request. Basically update outlook user's calendar upon pega task creation without sending any mails / meeting request to users outlook inbox. Appreciate if someone can help on any viable approach.
following are the product version stack we have,

Hello,
Pega has a number of ways to communicate with external systems. I don't know of a specialized Outlook connector that we might have, but you might talk to your exchange administrators about what APIs/Communications protocols are available to modify a user's calendar. Assuming that Exchange speaks SOAP or something else that we can handle, you should be able to create your own connectors. That said, I'm not aware of this being done, so there might be some other limitation that I'm not considering.

Thanks for the reply Mike... I have talked to some people and found following API. we have tried to call following API and still this is sending a meeting request. Based on current analysis outlook does not have an API to update calendar directly. one way is to setup a outlook rule / Macro to auto accept this meeting request based on Receiver mail address / Subject.
