to directly open the work object in perform harness by clicking work object ID link in email

I have a requirement to notify manager to appprove the request in email. I used approve/reject utility in a step and enable email approval. PRPC sends an email with a link to work object that opens up the work object in UI but does not directly open the assignment (need another click to open it). I woud like to open the assighnment directly in perform harness and provide the ability to view the request and also be able to approve or reject from the UI.

Hi Chow,

thank you for your reply. the approver receives email via email approval options selected in case designer. The email has a clickable link with the pyID from where I want to directly open the work object in perform harness so that i can approve or reject from UI as well.

Thanks for raising the question Dyan. Working on the same issue here.

It appears that for non-external users DWA is not necessary/recommended? Is this correct? And, how does one configure when there are already existing operators with access permission?

Hello Ryan,

I am expecting the expert team will bring additional insigts on the exact circumstances for DWA. DWA is a kind of one time link, and is meant for external users (work party), who are not operators. DWA lets an option to create an operator as well from a model external operator. Would you please try the corresspondence frament 'AssignmentLink' in the correspondence rule that is being sent to the user and let us know?

Thanks for your response. Indeed, so far our understanding about DWA is similar.

By the way, thanks for pointing out the corespondence fragment (cf); actually I applied the Worklink cf - progress, but not quite there yet..
