Deleting work object(s) from worklist - help?
Hello Everyone,
I am working on a mock up application and there are different levels of approval configured with workbaskets and worklist. I had to test the functionality and created multiple cases which I eventually purged by running an activity.
The issue is the cases do not exist anymore but are still visible on approver(s) and user's worklist/portal. Is there a way to clear the display of non existent cases under worklist?

Hello,
If you click on the non existant case that is still visible on the worklist, does the case open up with any error? If yes, please do send us a screenshot.
For Work Objects that encounter errors during flow execution, PRPC starts a FlowProblems flow for such work objects. Such WO assignments will appear in the Flow errors list and they should not be deleted instead you should use the ResumeFlow option for such assignments to clear the entry from the list.
You could delete the assignment directly from the database pc_assign_worklist table.

Hi Gisela,
Here is the snap shot of the error that pops up when I click on the non existing case instance which is visible on the worklist of the user. Also these deleted cases still show up in the OOTB reports also.

Hi Jaya,
Have you tried deleting the assignment directly from the database pc_assign_worklist table?
They should ideally not show up after that.
