CSA 7.1 certification help?
Hi All, please help me regarding CSA 7.1 certification. i have some few questions below.
how much value it has and how good it is considered by PEGA BPM service providers in India? (like infosys,CTS, TCS etcc)
what are the best practices before taking Test?
what are the scope of the questions asked and how are they relevant to SAEI and SAEII?
do we have study materials available for this other than SAEI and SAEII?
what is the percentage of passing rate for CSA7.1 till now appeared for test?

To answer your question:
The certification has Immense value with all our Pega 7 Platform service provider.
Please go through the SAE I and SAE II course published in Pega Academy. Do the exercise two times. Cmplete the Quizes twice so that you have a strog hold over the concept.
Please download the Exam blue print from the following URL that is http://pearsonvue.com/pegasystems
No need of any other material other than SAE I and SAE II course
The pass percentage is 70%

TCS is one of our Platinum partner and it has a Pega practice. As you are working with TCS you have got free access to all the Self Study courses in Pega Academy. Please go through them. To start with you can go through System Architect Essential Part I followed by System Architect Essential Part II.

knowing that the track is for SAE 1 and 2 can you take the certification test without having completed those two courses? Or are the courses required also?

Hi David,
It is not mandatory to undergo SAE I and II course to write the exam, but yes in order to appear for the exam you need the knowledge being taught within these two courses. IF you are working for one of our customer and you have thorough knowledge of Pega 7 then you can appear the CSA exam in any Pearson vue testing center.
