Debugger has stopped working
Hi
All of a sudden, the debugger has stopped working for my studio (1080 version). When I try to execute the automation, studio completes the build process successfully but fails to start the runtime. Its almost as if it has got disconnected from the studio.
However, When I open Openspan.Runtime64.exe file separately, the runtime starts and I am able to load the local project successfully.
Also, I have observed that I am no longer getting a blue icon on Openspan.Runtime.exe file in the Openspan folder
I feel that Openspan.Runtime.exe has become corrupted and that I need to connect Openspan.Runtime64.exe to my studio to make this work.
How can I make this work ?

Reinstallation of the studio resolved the issue. The Openspan.runtime.exe file had got corrupted

I have not experienced this before. You might try to isolate this to the solution if you suspect it is a corruption of your install. If it is solution-specific, creating a new solution would work fine. If a simple solution exhibits the same behavior, then you are probably correct in your assessment that it is a corruption of your install.
Off of the top of my head, I would try the following (which you probably already have).
1. Clean the solution.
2. Restart the machine (to ensure nothing dll related is stuck in memory).
3. Delete all breakpoints (close all open automation and select Delete All Breakpoints from the menu).
If this does not work, I would suggest you open a ticket with support. If you do, please record the SR number here so it can be tracked.
